Job Overview: The Warehouse Audio Technician will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. Flexibility to work on weekends as needed is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage Audio inventory and equipment.
- Clean, maintain, and ensure the proper functioning of all gear.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe.
- Load and unload trucks with event equipment.
- Conduct quality control (QC) checks on equipment before and after use.
- Assist in leading and managing contract labor as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Flexibility to work on weekends or overtime as needed to meet event deadlines.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of live audio equipment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely.

Key Responsibilities:
Travel & On-Site Support:
● Lead the load-in and setup of LED panels for live events, ensuring efficient and accurate
installation.
● Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site to maintain seamless event operations.
● Collaborate with clients, production teams, and other technicians to ensure the highest
quality results.
Warehouse & Inventory Management:
● Maintain and organize LED inventory in the warehouse, ensuring all panels, parts, and
equipment are in working condition.
● Perform routine maintenance, testing, and repairs on LED panels and related equipment.
● Coordinate inventory tracking to optimize usage and minimize downtime.
Technical Design & Planning:
● Create detailed drawing packets for LED panel installations, including layouts, power
schematics, and rigging diagrams.
● Design truck pack plans to maximize space and ensure efficient loading and unloading
for events.
● Stay up-to-date on the latest LED technology and recommend improvements to enhance
operations.
Requirements:
● Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with LED technology in live
events or a similar field.
● Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Vectorworks) to create
drawing packets.
● Knowledge: Familiarity with LED panel systems, video processors, and signal flow.
● Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve technical
issues.
● Leadership: Ability to manage on-site teams during setup and breakdown phases.
● Organization: Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills, particularly in
high-pressure environments.

What You’ll Be Doing
● Trucking & Freight Coordination
● Vendor & Carrier Management
● Strategic Logistics Oversight
● Communicate load plans, pickup windows, delivery times, and return schedules
● Coordinate LTL, FTL, hotshots, and specialized freight as required
● Negotiate improved rates and service terms
● Create and refine SOPs for transportation processes
● Experience using freight/load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.)
● Strong negotiation skills and cost-control mindset
● Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
● Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
● Strong communication skills across multiple departments
● Proficiency in logistics software and spreadsheets
Bonus Points
● Experience in live event production, AV rental, or time-sensitive project environments
● Existing carrier relationships or freight broker network
● Experience managing or dispatching an internal fleet
● Familiarity with DOT compliance and transportation regulations
● Strong proficiency in Excel or freight analytics/reporting tools
